what about Hitch's R2/UK DVd's?

Hi there!
I was just browsin' through play.com and I saw there's a lot of interesting Hitch's DVd's. Does anybody own some of them? post your opinions about them, please!

Be careful - some of them are pan & scan! (Not sure which, sorry to be not fully helpful.)

...I have Young And Innocent... a charming movie (which was made in 1938, so no P&S...)

Hendrik, that's my favorite pre-war Hitch film. What's the R2 transfer like? (I have the Laserlight edition which is okay in places, scratchy in others)

...it's ok for a movie that old (and little-known, I might add!)...

...generally, these UK releases of older films* are good enough, and some of them are quite good**... there's little or no hope for most of them of ever getting SEs anyway...

* e.g. A Town Like Alice / Genevieve / A Tale Of Two Cities / This Happy Breed / A Canterbury Tale / In Which We Serve - to name a few

** The Life And death Of Colonel Blimp

Here's a comparison of Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) UK disc vs Laserlight:
