JVC vs. Malata vs. ???
 

Having read through all the articles re: all region players, issues of PAL to NTSC, RCE/REA, Mediamatics Chips, Variable Power Sources, etc. I could still use a little help. With a move to Australia coming up in a couple of years I was eyeballing the Malata due to its' ability to work with various regions. I understad the JVC XVS500 only works in North America.

I would like to get some no nonsense advice on what model to get? Maybe a different one?

All I'm basically going to be doing is purchasing and viewing DVD's from Regions 1, 2, and 4 in the US and Australia.

What does everyone think? Thank you.
