It's not being released by Miramax in theaters until Spring '03, you'll be looking for a while. When it does finally come out you'll be able to find it anywhere (amazon, etc).

If you'd like the original version (cantonese/mandarin english subs) you can get it from www.dddhouse.com or the korean edition at www.krdvd.com

Also, keep in mind that the dubbed version from Miramax will have like 40 minutes cut out of.

Just a thought.

Get the HK version. Listen to it in Cantonese DTS w/ English subs.
Stephen is funnier in native tongue then any dubbing.

He he, you said "thong"

Seriously though, until Miramax releases it on DVD the closest you'll get to an English dub is making your own with a tape recorder and playing it along with the movie....which will probably be superior to the Miramax dub anyway.

I already bought the DVD from DDDHouse (I'm so glad I found out about that place) but will probably end up at least renting the Miramax version down the road so my grandmom can watch it. Her eyes aren't what they used to be.

i've heard that Miramax is butchering this movie and cutting a lot of it, so try to get the original and not the Miramax version. then again i havn't seen it and im only going on what i've heard.

You need not have "heard" anything to rightly assume that the Miramax release of Shaolin Soccer will be worthless; just look at their track record. Miramax and Dimension have never released a single Hong Kong action or martial arts film in its entirety. Why break the pattern for a comedy?
