Why does TinTin go out of stock?
Everytime I check it's out of stock do they even bother to re-release ? BUT today while I was placing an order for my 007 Collection *19* dvds box set I found out that TinTin is released on dvd 
Vol.1 + Vol.2 hurry up and place an order b4 it goes out of stock as usual

...ahh... the French l'intégrale (all Tintin movies, on 10 DVDs, in a wooden crate) is available for shipment (within France métropolitaine) within 24 hours... titles also available singly...
...otoh... the ANCHOR BAY ENTERTAINMENT (UK) release of Volume 1 and Volume 2 is due on October 28 (as I write this, we have October 25!)...

The French "Tintin" discs come with French, English, German, Dutch & Spanish subs & dubs. Currently on a 2-for-1 deal at Cinestore.

Did anybody else notice that "Cigars of the Pharoahs" and "The Blue Lotus" have out of sync audio on the Anchor Bay discs?
UPDATE REPLACEMENT INFORMATION
(from the Anchor Bay UK DVD forum)
TinTin problem addressed
Vis Art's faulty equipment was responsible for this as well as the
Suspiria DTS fault. Once again if anybody gets the wrong disc please
return the disc to Vis Art and they will immediately ship a new disc to
you free of charge.
There is no consolation that we have identified this fault belatedly,
but the rest of the series, of which there will be ten discs in all and
they will be perfect.
