EUR Price Conversion
 

I'm trying to get an idea of the price of a dvd in us dollars.

I can't find a good conversion from the EUR to us dollars.

I'm trying to order a german dvd from amazon.de.

The dvd of enigma on the site is EUR 24,99.

Can anyone help?

i am from germany and the euro is almost equal to u.s. dollars, like 4 cents difference or something like that.

It depends on the daily conversion rate. As already mentioned by MovieMan11779, the EURO almost equals USD.
The rate at this moment EUR -> USD is approx. 0.97561
So the Enigma dvd will cost approx. 0.97561 x € 24.99 = $ 24.38.
As you can see, this is not a large difference.
This dvd (when it was available a year ago) it only would have cost approx. $22.50 as the conversion rate was in favour of the USD. Too bad for you, Americans. Better for us, €-Europeans ;-)

When I tried to order from amazon.de they added on about $15 for standard shipping.
I checked for other german sites in the international section of this forum but there weren't too many that had an english interface.
Does anyone know of any good german sites with less of a shipping price that ship to the us?

Incidentally, I found a ton of these enigma dvds at ebay.de but i don't think they ship to the us.
They had the "Buy It Now" option but I never used it overseas before.

http://www.uoe.ch is based in Switzerland but sells a lot of German DVDs. Their shipping prices are very reasonable and the one order I placed with them arrived only a week later. :up:
