Now, I'm talking about the version where Christopher Lambert is holding a fluorescent lamp.

The cover art is perfect, and I mean absolutely perfect.
The insert is perfect, too.
The disc and all features play flawlessly. No problem here, as well.
However, the disc itself is printed well... with a very low resolution. Now, I can read everything even the smallest fonts, but again the disc art looks kind of cheapo. Double it with the fact that the disc arrived with no security seals (bubblerapped, though)... It's probably nothing but if you could take another look at it and check it out, that would be great. Thanks.

...well... ahh... ummm... ahh... you're talking about the 'artwork' on the disc itself... frankly, I don't see what difference it makes if that artwork should be silk-screened 'with a very low resolution'... IMNSHO disc art almost always looks 'kind of cheapo' - but I never lost any sleep over it, as long as the cover art is 'absolutely perfect' and the insert 'is perfect, too'... and if 'the disc and all features play flawlessly', who am I to complain?... BTW - what features?... except for trailers, the French release has zilch - because Mr Besson thinks the movie should suffice in and of itself - the man takes himself very seriously, he is not a fan of DVD and even less of 'extras' ('Making Of...', interviews, deleted scenes, bloopers, featurettes, whatever) on DVDs...

. . . . . .

Well, I'm not losing my sleep over it, but out of my (pathetic, I must say) 60+ DVD collection, this is probably the worst looking print I've had. I could care less about it, as you suggested, but should I be interested in selling or trading this DVD in the future, I want to be 100% sure I won't unwittingly trade in the bootleg. That's why I asked anyone who ACTUALLY HAS this DVD in their posession to take a look at it and tell me I have nothing to worry about.

I agree, it sucks, but I meant exactly that - 4 lousy trailers plus filmographies. They are still qualified as additional features, technically, that is.

I own this disc, and yes the picture quality on the disc are is pretty poor.

I don't mind the lack of extras, I'm just happy that this release is SOOOOOOOOO much better than the first release on DVD that looked as if it was mastered from an old VHS tape that wasn't tracked in properly.
