I see that several volumes of the series are available on the inferior format from the UK. Does that mean DVDs of this show could be near behind?

Where does this news come from? Is this from an official press release?

That was the stated intention from Paramount a few months ago but they’ve gone suspiciously quiet on the subject since then. The fact that it’s not been assigned a release date 3 months from Xmas makes me think we’ll not be seeing it this year.
