Bad Service from Atlantic DVD? (Australian e-tailer)
 

I ordered Back to the Future Trilogy R4 from Atlantic DVD (http://www.atlanticdvd.com.au/ on the 22nd of August. At the time, it was listed as out of stock. No big deal. NOW, its listed as in stock. However, I have 1. not been billed on my credit card, and 2. have not received the DVDs, and 3. not received any responses to my emails concerning my package. This is obviously bad customer service. Should I consider my order "lost", or should I give these mates some more time to figure out whats going on? Has anyone else had any trouble with them?

If I were you and was not getting responses to my emails, I would try phoning them (when dialing from outside Australia the number of their head office is: 61-8-83498555). Often in these situations you will get better results by actually speaking to a real person - it is too easy to defer email responses.

I have dealt with them a couple of times and they have always sent the orders without delay (but then again, I am in Australia). If they have not yet charged your credit card or sent a shipping confirmation, then I think it would be safe to assume that they have somehow overlooked your order or that it is in the queue.

I've had good experiences with them, as well.

I've placed several orders with them & have received excellant service & quick shipping.
