Fist of Legend DVD R2 ??
Does anyone own this DVD? I have been looking to replace my LD for years and I came across this. I don't want to get the butchered release by Miramax nor the less than average Ritek edition. Is this French version worth getting? Thanks in advance.

Nice disk, however, no English Subs.
I've been struggling trying to port subs over via dvdsubber, but the disk has forced french subs over the Cantonese track.
I think that video and audio-wise, it's the best available copy on DVD. However, if you are not fluent in French or Cantonese, you may want to wait, either until a timed script or a re-release is available.

removeable subs on french and english dubbed tracks.
interview with gordan chan in english (french subs)
other extras are french language and text.
The french subs are a tad annoying, but seeing the film in a remastered state means i can put away the vcd i've got.

Ericf,
I actually ripped the subs off of the R1 Dimension disk. I don't believe they are entirely accurate so I'm going through and revising them also.
Anyhow, I'll upload what I've created thusfar to scriptclub.
