All I could find out was that I think it's based on a true story about a dog that has to be sold because his owners needed money and then was sold again and was very homesick for its original family so it escaped and had a long journey to find its first home again. Sounds really melodramatic and touching... I don't know what the animation would be like, but I passed on it based on the artwork on the cover because it didn't look like something I would be interested in. Anyway - I haven't seen it, but that's all I could find.
