Korean Movie called Grotesque Girlfriend?

Is there such a thing? Is the translation way off? I was at E3 talking movies with some Sony Korea exhibitors and they told me to see Grotesque Girlfriend and that it was really really funny. They also said it was based on a true story. Sound familiar? So what movie are they talking about. I think it was pretty recent.

That'd be the literal translation for My Sassy Girl I would presume
Remember the Chinese name was pretty close to the Korean name, and that does sound pretty much like it.

Last week, I watched this movie on an airplane flight from Guangzhou to Beijing... I have to highly recommend it. The first 2/3 of the movie had me literally rofl... the stewardess had to tie me in my seat

The tone of the movie changes in the last 1/3 as it gets more serious... don't want to give too much away. But, it seems like a totally different movie for this final act.

Still, this movie has taken its place as one of the best romantic comedies i've seen.

I had a feeling it was My Sassy Girl after I got home and looked through titles. It was already on my list to order. Thanks.
