newbie pal/secam help
Hi there,
As i am new in this forum and pretty new at the dvd world. I hope someone can give me some advice/help. My question is: is it possible to play DVD region 2 PAL SECAM format on Region 2 players here in the UK?. Or would i need a special dvd player/part to watch them.

All DVDs are in either PAL or NTSC. Even the DVDs released in SECAM countries are actually PAL discs. The DVD player does the neccessary conversion to SECAM. So you should have no problem watching other European R2 discs on your PAL display.
