Need some info on the diff. versions of Tokyo Raiders
I'm looking at the R1 version but im afraid it might have "dubtitles", can anyone confirm this?
There are two HK versions, ones out of print with extras and there is a DTS thats lacking extras.
which is the best?
I'd prefer not have the DTS version because i cannot take advantage of the DTS track, but if its the best its the best.

No dubtitles
The R1 Tokyo Raiders does not have dubtitles, thankfully. I've actually watched portions with the dubbed dialogue and subs on just to see how different they are (and in this case, they are quite different, the dubbed dialogue is awful and even changes your view of some of the characters).
That plus the R1 is anamorphic, so I'd suggest the R1 disc.

And unless this was posted already, Sam's Club has Tokyo Raiders for $13.99 - as well as a bunch of Jackie Chan flicks.
Good luck!

you may also want to check used bin at local video shops. I know a bunch of stores brought copies in for rent. They never rented and then they moved to the used bin. I got a used copy for $10 bucks Canadian (about 6 US) of the R1 version. It is brand new condition. Doesn't even look like its been played once.
And the R1 version of the disc in actually pretty good. Too bad disney can't offer original dialogue too.
