I would hope that anyone wishing to make a go of this would first try to make contact with cynthia (which may not yield results; not sure of her access or state of health sadly) and next would be sure to keep the thing going rather than fizzling out after a burst of enthusiasm.
It is a big job of work and in her day cynthia put much into it. I think it would behove any new maintainer to continue in that spirit....

Hi everyone.
My apologies that I haven't been around in so long to update the list. Unfortunately, I still don't have time, but I should be around DVDTalk a bit more from now on and could help someone get started if they wanted to take over maintaining the list.
Just let me know.

Does anyone know if these titles are available anywhere?
ENCHANTED APRIL
RACHEL AND THE STARANGER
WE'RE NO ANGLES - 1956? BOGIE/USTINOV/RAY
I have searched but could not find them. I still have not gotten the hang of searching for titles in non-region 1 countries.
Thanks

DVD Talk Gold Edition
the Luigi Cozzi/Caroline Munro Star Wars rip off StarCrash is finally available on a French R2 , 2 disc collectors edition(?!).
looks to be from an old analog master done for tape, so quality isn't very good in either a/v, but its still watchable and at least the French subs ARE removeable.
there is special content as well as an in-name only sequel on the 2nd disc, but most of the material consists of talking heads being interviewed and is not supported by English subs.

The thread is looking for a new maintainer; and idea to which cynthia agreed some time ago.
Anyone care to email me with reasons as to why they think they'd make a suitable replacement?
Assuming a sufficient number of volunteers, maybe we can sort something out for a new start in 2005?!
I hope so.
