ET extra's and European date - rumoured.
Got this from a reliable R2 website, which got it from a French DVD source.
Of course it should be taken with the usual pinch of salt - especially the Spielberg commentary, and also in the light of the uncertainty over the supposed Duel release, but here it is anyway :
Introduction by Steven Spielberg
Audio commentary by Steven Spielberg
Audio commentary by the actors
Isolated soundtrack with commentary bu John Williams
Making of documentary
Making of 20th anniversay edition documentary
Deleted scenes
Comparison between storyboards & final film
Bloopers
Photo gallery
Virtual tour of the Universal Parc attraction
Trailer
Mind you, I suppose a commentary may not be that far fetched, as Speilberg and most of the cast did re unite for publicity for the cinema re release.

John Williams has never done an isolated score with commentary, so I doubt that is true. Spielberg has refused to do a commentary for all of his films on DVD so I don't know why he would start with E.T.

here's hoping:
Maybe because SS has always considered ET his most personal film. And seeing as what he did for the reunion special to talk about the rerelease, I could see him doing one.........

I don't know if this is true or not, but someone said that George Lucas asked Spielberg to do a commentary for Raiders of the Lost Ark, and he declined. If he says no to Lucas, who's he going to say yes to?
I just hope that this set has the original and 20th anniversary version completely separated (preferably with a disc for each). I fear that if they use seamless branching, only the new scene(s) will be cut from the "original" version (with CGI and walkie-talkies intact).
