V Boxset Coming to R2 This June
I got an email from CD Japan announcing the release of a V boxset on June 7th:
Classic sci-fi series on 3-disc boxed set. Disc 1 contains "V THE ORIGINAL MINI SERIES (196 mins)" (written and directed by Kenneth Johnson). Disc 2 contains "V THE FINAL BATTLE: 1 (182 mins)." Disc 3 contains "V THE FINAL BATTLE: 2 (85 mins)." Each disc is housed in a case, and all cases come housed in a transparent box.
Special Features : Making-of featurette(s), Audio commentary from director Kenneth Johnson

At a guess, I'd assume that this is going to be a direct port of the very old Japanese laserdisc box set. If so, the transfer is full-frame and of very dated quality, rather than the excellent remaster done for the R1 DVD.
