I just read at one of the sites, sorry I forget which one, that the next South Park DVDs are coming out in June.

There was a rumor at the DVDtimes forums about a June release date.

I'm bumping this up becuase I noticed on that Amazon UK has new 3 volumes up for pre-order. Does anybod know if they are breaking from the pattern of 4 discs a season? Having the whole season on 3 would be nice.

I can't wait for these discs becuase I think this was/is the best season of South Park so far.

According to southparkstudios.com, there were only 14 episodes in Season Five. I'm guessing WB will be able to release them on 3 discs instead of 4. I can't wait!

I think it was because of the suicide of the lady who did the voices for Wendy and most all the other females on the show.

That's very sad, I didn't know that.

Actually that happened in 1999. The real reason there were only 14 episodes last year is because Parker and Stone were also working on the "That's My Bush" TV show at the same time.

The release date for series 5 will be June 24 and will have a list price of 39.99.

I just received an email from Amazon UK, the set has been delayed until .......?

The site has the release date at January 2003.

That would be a good 6+ months past the original release date.

I'm thinking about just cancelling my order and begin looking on E-Bay for an unofficial release.

What's up with all these delays?
