Anyone ever have problems with www.dvdzone2.com?

Hey just wondering anyone else has had a problem with these guys. I was overcharged on a recent order. The total without VAT was EUR 49.57, but they charged my credit card $87.44 in American currency. I have made the exact same order before and my credit card was only charged about $42-43 in American Currency. I have email them 3 times and so far they all have been ignored. Normally they have been a good e-tailor. But this has me a little worried.

Anyone with any similiar problem and how long did it take to get straightened out?

?

[Every time I spend $30 at CDNow it shows up as different s on my statement: the rate is not fixed....]

http://www.xe.com/ucc/

However, I agree that the rate will not have changed that much: using the above site shows that the lower amount you were charged in the past was almost certainly the right one!

The figures you cite suggest a double charge of some kind, since $43 is about half $87. (Presumably you didn't make two similar orders that went through on your statement as a single transaction?)

Have you taken it up with your credit card company?

I've ordered from DVDZone2 several times and while I've never been overcharged, they do take forever to ship DVDs and apparently use the slowest method available. I'm still waiting for my Brotherhood Of The Wolf order which shipped back on 1/8!

Oh and one more thing, they are very slow at responding to email. They eventually do though.

It took me 6 weeks to get my Don't Look Now DVD from them so I know how long it takes to get stuff from them.

BTW I express shipped My Brotherhood of the Wolf 3 DVD set from them and that worked great! 2 days after getting a shipping notice from them I had it. All total it took 7 days to get it.

The wierd thing is the very first order I place with them after it shipped I got it in 7 days! Every order since then has taken at least a month.

I was hoping to hear from them first before I take it up with them. Codefree stated that they do answer email eventually I just wonder how long that is and how long I should wait, I hate it when these things happen!

Hey just to let everyone know PROBLEM SOLVED!! They combined 2 orders(though they didn't tell me). So that is what caused the discrepency. They did email me back today so eventually they got back to me. Which is cool...

I actually forgot that I did have another outstanding order or I may have been able to figure it for myself.

Glad everything worked out,

I redirect people to Dvdzone2 for commission, and would hate to find out I'm pointing them in a "rip-off" direction
