Fifth element (germany) and Crying Freman(france)?

I was just wondering whever these two DVD's, The Fifth Element 2 disc SE from Germany, and Crying Freeman SE from France, have English subtitles on there extras. And if so, are they worth buying?

I have both of these on order and in currently in transit to my home. If no one answers in the meantime, I'd be happy to check for you upon their arrival.

I ordered the 2 disc Collector's Edition which is 2.35:1 and 16:9 enhanced. IIRC, the 1 disc version is p&s/fullframe.

I don't know about 5th element, but Crying Freeman's extras are not subbed in Eng also when people are speaking Japanese there are no subs which kind of sucks.

No, 1 Euro is worth about 90 cents US. Basically deduct 10% off of the prices you see at DVDZone2. Also, they'll deduct the VAT which will mean a little more off.

Is there anything else worth ordering from DVDZone2? I might just pull the trigger on CF DVD today.

I want to get the unedited version of Eyes Wide Shut, but I think that's only available in Region 3. DVDZone2 offers a Dutch version and the normal Region 2 (I think, only on order) version. Do I need to order this from the Hong Kong site?

Where can I order that German R2 DVD of the Fifth Element? DVDZone2 only has the Dutch & UK(?) versions of it.

The Region 2 (UK, PAL format) and Region 3 (Hong Kong, NTSC format) discs are both uncensored.

It is only the Region 1 copies that have the digital censorship.

Well if by chance you like Jim Carrey, you can buy The Mask, Dutch edition, with an awesome English dts track for quite cheap there. Also, the French have Ace Ventura: Pet Detective in anamorphic widescreen unlike any other country. Check out Cynthia's and my sticky threads in this forum to see what's available in France... there's a lot of good stuff IMO.

Amazon Germany carries it but there shipping method takes a good month or longer to receive something.

Here's a really, really dumb question...how do you navigate the German Amazon.com site if you don't speak German? I guess I can wing it since the format is exactly the same as the US & UK sites, but I don't want to get ripped for anything I can't read!

It's fairly easy if you've ever set up an amazon.co.uk (and maybe even an amazon.com) account (if you haven't, I'd recommend it) because the account details are shared. All you have to do is know the German titles of the DVDs you want and put them in your cart. A limited amount of help is available in English on their site too.
