Where Japanese Monty Python Holy Grail Badly subtitled in English?

Included with the recent CTHE R1 Monty Python and The Holy Grail SE are clips from a Japanese version.

These clips were (obviously) dubbed into spoken Japanese. That in itself is amusing, especially if you know the movie.

*But* the real kicker is that evidently the company that produced the Japanese version, took it upon themselves to translate the spoken dialogue *back* into english in the form of subtitles. Needless to say, this inverse translation wasn't quite accurate, and hence is incredibly funny. Totally hilarious IMO.

Does anybody know where/if I can get my hands on either this specific version, or one who has similar subtitling/language problems?

DVD is obviously preferred, but [shudder] NTSC VHS will work too.

Thanks in advance.

Doraemon on DVD/VCD?

I've heard that Doraemon has been released on several 3 DVD sets in Japan and HK. I was wondering if anyone had any info on if they were region coded and where I could possible buy them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

For those who don't know, Doraemon was an old Chinese (?) anime that started in 1965 or so about a robotic cat who travels back in time to prevent his future master from eventually becoming poor. Chaos and hilarity ensue

Battle of Algiers

Is this film currently available on DVD with either English (or French) subtitles, and if so, where can I find a copy of it? I have seen it listed as a R2 UK (Tartan Video) title but this appears to be OOP.

Thanks.

The experiment of merging these kind of singleton requests (with a view to keeping the information in one place) looks to have been a failure....

.... to give the last three requests a fresh airing I've split them from the original thread and bumped them via this offshoot.

(I'll probably just put links to future "orphans" here).

Starman R2 Sp Ed not yet released. Seems to have a somewhat fluid and shifting release date.

Bertolucci's 1900 and The Sheltering Sky

Have these two films by Bertolucci -- 1900 and The Sheltering Sky -- been released on DVD anywhere (with either English or French subs)?
