Solaris: Criterion?
 

I was trying to adding Solaris to my list at dvdaf.com and my search yielded three versions of Solaris, one of which was a Criterion release....anybody have any info about this...like what version of the movie...extras?

Sorry if this is old news, but did not find any posts with this info even though I have a feeling I read about this previously....

...afaik there once was a DVD on the image label, which was withdrawn about 7 minutes 43 seconds after this news became widely known...

...there may be a DVD in Criterion's future ... some day ... eventually ... perhaps ... possibly ...

...there is a(n official) DVD on the (Russian!) RUSCICO label now...

The original question now looks to have been asked, and as there are <i>already</i> <A HREF="http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=158248" target="_blank">one</a> or <A HREF="http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=159654" target="_blank">two</a> places to discuss <b>non</b>-Criterion Solaris matters, this one is ripe for closing.
