Mylene Farmer video collection (II & III)

I'm moving this from the delayed mail thread.

The disc is all region PAL. Both the Luc Besson and Ching Siu Tung directed videos are excellent. The CST video is around 8 minutes long. It starts with twin Mylene Farmers
in old period clothing dancing in a field with cloth draped bamboo poles. Sort of
a cross between Green Snake and Chinese Ghost Story. They are interrupted
by a band of invading horse bound warriors. They look Japanese here but they might
be Mongols. A brief fight ensues. One of the twin Mylenes is carried off by one of the
raiders, the other is knocked senseless by another warrior/horseman. The captured Mylene is shown in a cell, then later being abused by the soldiers. This is when they look more like Mongols. The other Mylene dies enroute to rescuing c-Mylene but resurrects as a spirit?)
She bursts in on the abusing Mongols. The twin Mylenes (with a lot of wire work assistance) spin, twirl, and battle the Mongols. They unleash their yang energy powers via joining their tongues with each other from across the room. The Mongols are vanquished and spirit Mylene flies away with captured Mylene. Back on the ground, the live Mylene is on a bridge the the spirit Mylene earlier crossed when she came to rescure the captured Mylene. The live Mylene jumps off the bridge and reunites with the spirit Mylene, a la Shan Po and Chu Ying Tai in The Lovers.

I haven't watched the other videos yet, except for the Luc Besson. That one's pretty
good too. Kind of like Wings of Desire meet Thriller, includes a scene of a Michael Jackson killed by a falling crucifix !

There are 10 videos, with some bonus material of two additional and a making of and
one song from a live concert. The videos are in various aspect rations, 4:3,1.85 and 2.35. French audio, no subs (except for French subs during English dialogue in the
Besson video)

I found this very informative fan site in English and Italian, there seems to be many:

I might have to get the first video collection, now. Dare I trust amazon.fr?

Bonus material

I watched the rest of the video last night. Among the extras: 3 live concert performances,
2 Making of the video videos and a video at a studio recording session.

The second video is the most exciting for me. It's the making of with Ching Siu Tung.
Around 18 minutes long, it shows the video shoot in Peking. Among the highlights for me:
watching the dove wranglers for the obligatory soaring doves shot in the video,
the horsemen raid scenes looked nasty, it looks like they used trip wires or ropes to
get the horses to tumble (no SPCA on set here), teaching Mylene the proper way to twirl
effectively, "flying" Mylene and twin by wire, the 360 degree camera move in front of
blue screen.

The first Making of is a 24 minute piece on the Abel Ferrara (Miami Vice, Crime Story series) directed California video. I didn't realize until I watched it that the costar was Gian Carlo Esposito, the actor that played Yaphet Kotto's son in Homicide - Life on the Street.

Again, the DVD is all region, but PAL. I had to do some manuevering to get my Sampo
to recognize the disc: I had to use the remote hack to toggle the display from NTSC, PAL
and finally to Multi display to get the disc to load, then switch it back to NTSC to watch it without the picture scrolling.
