I don't know if you have seen the region 0 release, but don't expect it to be to much better then that. I can't help you on finding one in New York, but I bought mine from Bensons World online.

Isn't the R2 widescreen? I'm hoping that it won't have a burned in distributor logo that appears for a few seconds in the beginning as in the Ocean Sh_t, err... Ocean Shores R0 version.

Alas, it's full screen 4:3, despite distributor's claims. I returned my copy.

If you're refering to the UK ICA Projects release, it is definitely widescreen. Also, it's actually R0 PAL.

Yeah it's widescreen, but just barely. The ratio is 1:66, but I thought the Ocean Shores was 1:66 as well. I would check, but my brother has been borrowing it for the last 2 months. If you are making the choice between the two get the UK disc, but I don't think it's worth upgrading from the Ocean Shore disc.

Thanks for your help, dudes.
It's just that it's kinda lame to see that logo appear.

I guess that I'll think about including it with a Three Colors order from amazon.co.uk.

Hey I just got those late last week. The transfers are pretty good on all three. Red seemed just a little washed out on some of the dark scenes. Extras wise I only checked out about 30 mins worth on Red and it looks like there is still a ton more.
