I am surprised no one has mentioned Norika from China Strike Force... Most of these new "hotties" are nothing but poster fodder.... A talented woman is the most attractive!

You guys are so superficial

I have to nominate:

Michelle Yeoh
Karen Mok
Maggie Cheung
Gong Li
Sammi Cheng

Also, is this list limited to Chinese actresses? I'd suggest Japanese cult movie queen Kei Mizutani. Though she seems to be more sexy than beautiful, though she is certainly that too...
No Amy's not "real", she claimed she was after she first got them, but everyone in HK knew better. Just watch those puppies float during the Sex and Zen bath scene.

If you're going to list Kei-chan, then you have to list Kumiko Takeda-the "all natural" B movie actress, who has posed for more picture books than any other Japanese woman. You can see the rise and fall of her "fortunes" along with her body weight.

Michelle Saram

Michelle Saram (Skyline Cruisers) - I like her 'cuz she's cute but also a bit unusual-looking due to her heritage.

Michelle Yeoh

Not to disrespect your girl Trigger, afterall, you did catch me stalking her until Narua Asami showed up at my door But I have to admit to having a thing for older women.

Michelle Yeoh. Classical features, she can be both soft and strong.
here's a pretty good fan-site with a ton of pics of her.

Okay, I have to ask. What's up with 'Bearded-Booger-girl' in Stephen Chow's films. She/he/it has been in both movies I've seen so far. Shaolin Soccer and God of Cookery. (Is it a trademark of some kind?) Should I expect to see this in any of his other films?

cheers,
Gabe

So what is the deal with JPGs from Geocities? Why don't these pics show up unless they're actually in the browser cache? Outside of Trigger's explanation of going to Properties and cutting/pasting the URL path into the address URL, any way to force the display of these unlinked pictures?

No way that I know of. Geocities (Yahoo) disabled external linking a little over a year ago if I remember correctly. The only way around it that I know of is to find some place that allows external linking that will host the pics for you. I used to use Zing.com photo hosting, they went kaput. Photopoint used to be good too, used to be free, now it's a pay site.

Let's see if this test works.
I just uploaded a picture I nabbed from a geocities site to a free account I just created at shutterfly.com

And now for the external linking:

cheers,
Gabe

Okay, that worked. Pretty simple. Here's a list of sites that host photos.
Some of them probably don't allow external linking of course like geocities. Well, I know now that shutterfly works.

From what I understand, Lee Kin-Yan was a schoolmate of Stephen Chow's and as such has been in quite a few of his films. Memorable cameos in Chow films such as the filthy hotel worker in From Beijing With Love, the girl at the bridge in Flirting Scholar, 'Christy Chung' in God of Cookery, the makeup person in Shaolin Soccer, the person that Daniel Chan adores over the phone in Lucky Guy, and probably some others that I can't remember.

Athena Chu and Michelle Reis are my two absolute favorite HK actresses. I do make a distinction between 'favorite' and 'hottest', though Athena is pretty hot.

IMHO Michele Reis gotta have one of the most beautiful faces in the world. I am a big fan of hers also, even though I haven't seen her in that many movies. Last movie I saw of hers was "Healing Hearts" and she was awesome in it.

Somebody mentioned Anita Mui. The first movie I saw of hers was called "Rouge", in which she played a ghost. Ever since then I could never disassociate her looks with that of a ghost, unfortunately.

Seriously? Sorry - I didn't say anything bad about her, though. Well obviously I have such deep impression of Anita because she is such a good actress and was so conveniencing in her role in Rouge.

yes, serious about the relative part (I think), but no you can talk all you want about her, she's been full of gossip all of her life. From her two actor boyfriends (Chiu Man-Cheuk and Ben Lam Kwok Bun) to her drug habit to her association with triads to her Madonna-like persona... but she's a hella actress and my favorite singer (HK or anywhere else in this world)...
