Wow... only one I've seen that you haven't is Bride With White Hair... That's a good flick. Avoid the sequel as it is god awful. You're better off leaving what happens next to your imagination.

The only one on your list I have seen is City War. And you've seen it already. (I'm still a HK newbie I suppose, I've probably only seen 40 or so titles...)

cheers,
Gabe

Johnny is awesome!

My second large order. 21 dvds. All Korean or Japanese with a cheapie weekly sale HK dvd thrown in. I asked if he could open the dvds up and make sure they were secure so that I would get them without any scratches. He did just that and I couldn't be happier. I'll be ordering from him alot. Now if only he has as many Japanese/Korean dvds as HK.

All About Ah - "Long". Excellent movie
City War - seen this
Diary of a Big Man - good to see CYF in a silly movie. Wish I had his problem in this movie
Fractured - assuming that this is "Fractured Follies". Ok, nothing great
Fun The Luck And The Tycoon, The - hilarious movie, same main 3 characters as All About Ah Long, but totally different movie. One of my favorites
Flaming Brothers - good movie, but they could have found a better looking wife for Alan Tang. You'll see what I mean.
Battle Creek - seen this
Heart of The Dragon - good movie, Sammo out of character
Winners and Sinners - seen this
Aces Go Places I - the first 4 AGPs are great, the 5th one drags
Aces Go Places II
Aces Go Places III -
Aces Go Places IV
Aces Go Places V
Bride With White Hair - excellent
Casino Tycoon - you do need to see these two consecutively. Good movies.
Casino Tycoon
Century of the Dragon - pretty good
First Time is The Last Time, The - in PAL, hope you have a Malata. Excellent movie
He's A Woman, She's A Man - outstanding funny movie, one of my faves..
Moment of Romance, A - great movie. Wu Chien-Lien is great in all three movies, though they are three distinct stories
Moment of Romance, A II - good
Moment of Romance, A III - ok
She shoots straight - ok, good girls with guns film
Yes Madam (Universe Version) - excellent
Hong Kong 1941 (Universe) - outstanding movie
Prison on Fire (Universe) - seen this
Prison on Fire II (Universe) -seen this
Spiritual Love - pretty good supernatural comedy
Triads The Inside Story - ok, not one of CYF's better performances
Drunken Master - VCD - great movie
My Lucky Stars - fun movie, pretty good. JC is great in this one
Eastern Condors - seen this
Prodigal Son - seen this
Wheels on Meals - seen this

most of the movies are pretty solid. I think you'll like most of the ones you haven't seen...

Thx YellowHammer appreciate your comments, But OH DAMN are you sure the movie "First time is last time" is PAL, shoot if it is then what can i do about this? Don't want to buy a region player.

Yellow Hammer and Trigger can you guys email me? I would like to maybe talk to you about some movies and such ... but my email is [email protected], if you have the time.

but if anyone would like to reach me by email or aim, my screen name is tangno, i would love to find out more on hong kong movies, what you seen, whats good, etc, i recently got involved in hong kong movies and i love them. I like them much better then American movies which most of the time have no replay value for me as much.

And to all those who commented I appreciate your opions. Now i gotta just find the time to watch them...

FWIW tangno, dddhouse and asiandvdguide both list the Wilson disc of First Time is the Last Time as PAL.

You could always put it up for sale or trade in the FS/FT thread...
A Malata owner or other PAL-capable member may take it off your hands...

cheers,
Gabe

He's a woman, She's a man

You might want to consider "Who's the woman, Who's the man", which is the sequel, on a future order. Then, I guess that depends on how well you enjoy "He's a woman, She's a man". It was an easy decision for me, as I laughed till tears came with the first one.

Well - you're welcome to ask a question in the forum and if I know the answer, I'll post it. It's better to have the questions and answers available to everyone in case they have the same questions. Plus - I don't know as much about this stuff as YH does. If you want to ask a specific question to me, you can post it in the Official Newbie Help thread up top. I can't speak for Yellow Hammer, but he seems like a busy guy yet still finds the time to answer a question now and again on the forum. You can also search for old threads cuz I pretty much blabber on about every stupid movie I see and annoy everyone and chances are I've seen the film you want to ask about and I've commented on it.
