Thai movie "Jan Dara" from director of "Nang Nak"

Does anyone have information on this movie (Jan Dara). Read a short article that it had been banned or censored. Thanks!

Jan-Dara is one of my favorite book. i just had seen the picture yesterday. it's censored (not banned) badly here in bangkok. the film is mediocre though.
i'm not impressive at all.

Yes, it would have been helpful to mention what kind of information.

Since Nonzee Nimibutr did Nang Nak, I was wondering if the movie was similar.......another tingler. The www.imdb.com only had it listed as a drama without additional comments.

Didn't search for an official site. Found one after reading your comments at: www.jandarathemovie.com and the synopsis reads well. Sorry you felt the film mediocre. Was that because it was badly censored? That can often make a film difficult to follow.
