shipments from DVDShelf.com

Hi folks,
What's the turnaround-time on orders from DVDShelf.com? Supposedly, my last package shipped on the 9th and now it's the 20th, and no sign of it. Obviously the tragedy of last week has fouled up mail service so I expect a delay.....but I'm getting a bit antsy. (geeez.....even discussing this makes me sound like a petty fool)
The news section of their website mentions that orders sent to the USA have been "recovered" but I'm not exactly sure what that means. Since all international flights were suspended, would that mean that my stuff was sent back to DVDShelf? I haven't received any notification of that, and my account *has* been drafted for this order. Or perhaps it's sitting in a mailroom somewhere else.....It's not really a big deal, I'm just curious as to what might be going on. They've got a user forum, but it appears to be down right now.....

any input is welcome,
zipflint

It must be hung up enroute somewhere.

They are typically very fast. I placed my latest order on 9/6,
they shipped it on 9/14 (waiting for the Shaolin Soccer release) and
I received the package 3 days later on 9/17, which is typical for dvdshelf.
It came via UPS express.

Did you check under My Account? You can track your order there. If you click
on the UPS icon it'll send you to the UPS tracking site, from there
click on the Details icon.

yeah, probably hung up somewhere

Hi there,
I did look under my Order Status, and it lists everything as shipped; I used the airmail option so I don't have a tracking number. I'll probably use the currier option in the future though.
I did send them an e-mail, politely asking what might be the hold-up. We'll see what happens. If it *is* lost that's no biggie in the grand scheme of things. But knowing my luck, if I re-ordered those titles, they'd show up on my doorstep the next day.
:P
