yeah, this person obviously works for the company. It's the only message he posted since signing up.

I doubt it - coolashop is a big site - Geoff would've contacted them by now to get special deals or whatever like he did with HKFlix or Homay. This is just someone who saw a deal and wanted to contribute I think.

Anybody from the States order from Coolashop? How are they to deal with? I noticed a link to them at asiandvdguide.com and assumed that they must be reputable, but I'm not sure how good they would be shipping to the USA.

They have some titles there that I can't find at DVDshelf or DDDhouse and I wouldn't mind broadening my options.

They are a large company and they sell tons... I'd say they are the Amazon of HK, but that might be a stretch... Their website is great looking, but has some code errors - I've tried to order from them and when nothing arrived, I contacted them to ask why - they said I never ordered anything... so my order never went through. I don't know why. Since then they have cleaned up their site - I think I'd order from them sometime if they had the lowest price on something, but haven't found that to be the case yet. I certainly think it's safe to order from them - I just had a random bad experience.

Coolashop

Coolashop have recently been spamming everywhere promoting their site. It's rather sad really.

some personal opinion

Sorry , I am a new comer too, I agreed with Peep, I don't mind to get news that may broaden my mind. I also saw DDDHouse and Coolashop's promotion on other newsgroups, I am not sure if done by their staff, but the information they posted are quite useful, and sometimes the bargain is quite attractive. U can't blame them on doing so, as people in newsgroup are assumed more sofisicated in watching films, they are the target customer for online shop. I can't think of other area to find more indepth and insightful opinion in newsgroup.
