I saw this disk while I was in Japan last week and decided to order it. I have a question for others who own this disk:
While it's advertised as having audio in DD5.1 in both English and Japanese, I found that on my players, the only DD5.1 track is in English and contains the on-going commentary by director and producer. The DD2.0 soundtracks in Japanese and English are the original audio of the movie. A DD5.1 track of just the movie isn't available.
Just want to verify that my observations are correct.

It would sort of look to be the case. Sorry I don't know more about it. Just looked it up myself. Is the commentary and extra's worth it? And is it the completely uncut version like the European release -- full blood spattering and everything?

I can confirm that there is no 5.1 sound for the movie itself, however the 2existing 2.0 track is very good. I found the commentary to be interesting and the extras pretty funny... especially the footage from the Japanese PR tour - nothing really special but a cute extra. From what I can remember, having had a local release in the past, all the violence seems to be there and the image is very nice. So to sum it all up it's a nice disc, well worth the buy. I love the Japaneese cover-image
