Just ordered a movie from DDD house called"Peeping Tom
"..Since the Asian dvd guide is gone I have no idea what this movie is about..Just took a chance....
Anyway My question is this...I know Bunman and Red to Kill are GRADE A Cat 3 movies(really deserve their reputation)but these days they all seem to be lame T & A "comedies"..So what are some NASTY and DESERVING CAt 3 titles I should get a hold of ....

This movie sounds interesting but not my style unfortunately...
I was actually interested in CAT 3 Hong Kong or Japanese movies..
The Peeping Tom I mentioned is not the '60's classic but a newer HK movie........I've watched it already and it was so-so in a way that I thought it would be ie.lots of naked bodies but no real nastiness in the way Bunman was nasty...
So anyone any ideas what movie to buy next????

I've already seen all the sex and Zen movies..They started off well but by no'3 they were crap...
Can no-one recommend either a TOTALLY unredeemably nasty movie...Think MANIAC HK style.....I saw untold story one and Ebola syndrome (are these on DVD in HK???) adn was looking for something on this level...While Sex and Zen it's not really what I'm after....
Also I remeber seeing a movie called Run and Kill is this on HK DVD?????

A Chinese Torture Chamber Story was good, as far as HK catagory III sex comedies go, but I don't think this is what he is looking for. Personally I prefer sex over violence, so I haven't seen some of the more brutal catagory III movies, but here are some suggestions:

Erotic Nightmare with Anthony Wong is both erotic and nasty, not simply gore for gore's sake which can be boring. Its an interesting story, well acted, and definitely not a comedy. My favorite sight-unseen DVD in a long time. Here's an accurate review with pics of Kei Hung and Pinky Cheung from the great Brooklyn Bridge HK review site.

You might try Robotrix with Amy "not much of a actress but
i have huge tits" Yip that has some STOOOPID action that
will have you laughting out loud, some slo-mo soft core
sex, a bit of blood and once again, amy yips big lungwarts
on display. i know a lot of people hate it but it's a
fun but silly movie. the media asia/mega star dvd can be
had on the cheap and boasts a pretty nice transfer.

As for pure nasty, Red to kill. the transfer is pretty
bad but it's cheap and the film is as exploitive and nasty
as a cat 3 can get. you might also look into japan shocks
just released All Night Long trilogy (with part 2 being
some nasty ****. I have also heard good things on the
Cat 3 film, The Imp. Also For A few bucks youy can pick
up The Ebola Syndrome on vcd, another film thats done in
the worst possible taste.

in HK, especially in Mongkok, they sell a lot of so-called Category IV DVDs. Some pretty nasty stuff from the little that I saw - fairly close to the U.S. XXX stuff.

I am surprised..I've never heard of Category 4 before.....
What exactly is cat4 and do you have any reviews or examples of this kind of movie???
Whenever I get a cat 3 film (usually sight unseen)I am usually disappointed because the potential of the movie is always far higher than the actual content..In the early days you saw a category 3 sticker on a movie and you knew what to expect(ie Red To Kill)but these days they are usaully lame ass Wong "I don't care how bad the film is as long as I make money"Jing productions..ie pathetic....
Please educate me in the pros and cons of cat 4 movies...You've really got me interested now....and are there any online retailers who carry these?????

You should try "There's a Secret in My Soup." It's not as nasty as "Bunman" or "Red to Kill," but it's still pretty disgusting (buncha sickos torture a chick to death and then chop her up before using her as you know what). As a bonus there's some virtually unrelated scenes involving a really hot chick who gets completely naked and let's her boyfriend oil her up good.
