Use altavistas babelfish on it.

It won't make it extremely readable, but it will be much better than the japanese (if you can't read japanese)

I can help anyone wanting to buy stuff from amazon.co.jp - I may want to add in a disk though if you're prepared to pay postage. Let me know.

What's their price on Mimic w/Mira Sorvino? I may wish to order that title since it's 16X9 unlike the R1 version.

I have checked for Afterglow under any spelling I can think of in Japanese with no luck. It's either not called that in Japanese (possibly) or is not available.

Thanks Hanaji....I appreciate the endeavor....With the strange nature of Japanese discs (one minute OOP, the next still available)you may be right...I've seen it listed at sazuma and another place....I also tried to translate afterglow and do a search, but no luck myself...Thanks again.

Stranger spelling thatn I thought and they were well off on the English. Glad to be of assistance.

Don't know of any great translators. Jim Breen's page is good but it's more designed for those studying Japanese. You can paste in a page of text and it gives you each word translated - so not a word for word, sentence by sentence thing. It may be of use to someone though. It's at:-

He he - I searched for Niru in katakana and got it first time. I then searched for "nil by mouth" in English and got it too. Thought it might be called something else in Japanese though but it seems not. I'm from English by the way, not Japanese as you might be suggesting.

Referring to your post with the url for the 'nbm' disc---Actually with shipping Nil by Mouth only comes out to around $45....That is quite a discount considering I was use to paying close to $70 over the last few years for Lost Highway, Eraserhead and Leon....

I've only ever got 2 R2 Japanese DVDs for the wife - 1 in a swap and one in auction (T2 and Leon). Both after the better R1s came out and so the price had dropped a bit. As you know there are virtually no discounts and the postage is huge in Japan - it's not the best place in the world to have to get disks from!!
