I've had 3 DVDs on backorder from DVDZone2 since April 6th and I'm tired of waiting so I'd like to place an order for them elsewhere. Can someone please recommend a good French etailer that ships to the U.S. and who's site is hopefully in English? I looked at Cinestore but I did not see the U.S. listed as a place they'll ship to. And AmazonFr's site doesn't list technical details.

BTW, I'm looking for these three for a reasonable price...

Air Bud (DVDZone2 says it's 16X9 widescreen but Cinestore and AmazonFr say it's 4X3 - which is it?)

Mr. Nice Guy aka Mister Cool

Sleepy Hollow DTS

Thanks in advance!

* Air Bud: is full-screen, has 'locked' ( = non-optional, non-removable) French subtitles when playing the English soundtrack (!!! -> MPEG <- 2.0 DPL)

http://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/fiche.php3?id=59

* Air Bud 2 - Golden Receiver: is anamorphic 1.85:1, has locked French subtitles when playing the English soundtrack (DD 2.0 DPL)

http://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/fiche.php3?id=60

* Mr. Nice Guy: is anamorphic 2.35:1, has optional French subs, DD 5.1 sound

http://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/fiche.php3?id=983

* Sleepy Hollow: is anamorphic 1.85:1, has optional French subs, DD 5.1 as well as dts 5.1 sound

Don't know of any French supplier's site that's in English (but, then, I never looked!)... the two sites I use are ciné store (very slow to load!) and ŕ la page (...I never use DVDZone2!...)

. . .

Thanks for the confirmation on Air Bud being 4X3.

As for PlanetCinestore, it appears that they don't ship to the USA, at least I did not see my country listed when I tried to register. Weird that they ship to Canada and Mexico though.

They have it. I didn't get it with a search on aleepy hollow but it comes up if you search for tim burton.

And both sites ship to the US as well. In the country list, you have to look for "Etats Unis".

You can try http://www.fnac.com too, never ordered from them but sometimes they have DVD's at nice prices. Don't know though if the site can be displayed in english or if they ship to US...

Thanks for the tips on searching for Tim Burton and for the French name for United States. I'll check out the other etailer as well.
