Hello All

Has anybody else noticed that Amazon (efter 1 April) changed their carrier?

If i look at my orders shippede BEFORE the 1 of April they all say '... shipped ... via DHL WorldMail', but the orders shipped AFTER the 1 of April says '... shipped ... via Deutsche Post'

Anybody noticed any change in speed, custom charges or any other things after the switch?

Kind regards:
- Martin

Yep. Previous orders from amazon shipped standard Worldmail would take anything from 1-3weeks to reach me in the UK. This week Ghost arrived just a day after the US street date, having taken just 5 days in shipping, using Deutsche Post. Looks like i'll be using them a bit more frequently again from now on.

I am still waiting a shipment from them sent on April 18th. With DHL WorldMail, it usually takes about 12 days to reach me here in Australia, so looks like the change in carrier has not improved for us.

It's quite possible that it's one and the same carrier. I believe Deutsche Post AG is a part owner of DHL.

I asked Amazon about this and they just said that it's very similar to DHL worldmail. Who knows? I got my Spartacus in 1 week...

That's right, Deutsche Post owns DHL. But I'm not sure if it is the same as World Mail.
However, Amazon used to ship via USPS International Airmail rather than DHL World Mail in the last months. That's why shipping to many destinations has been slowing down continously...

How about customs? Any experience with the new carrier and being stung by customs?

I repeat my question above... Any customs experiences?

in EU no troubles with customs when ordering with Amazon.com: their service is "full inclusive".
