The rewards page was down whenever I checked yesterday, they have a notice up now, but I do see older rewards.
1 new one so far, but hit or miss if the page loads - and when it does can't redeem.

Looks like you can only redeem zero point stuff right now. Physical stuff still coming up "under maintenance" under "Redeem" button.

On a sidenote, I had to return my damaged The Marvels payoff poster (first time I ever had to return something). They received it, but said they have a backup "due to a technical issue with our third-party operations vendor." Not sure if that is the same issue they are having with redemptions or not.

Their Disney Movie Club site is down also, and unless they automatically extended the option to reject the monthly title, I'll be getting the new Indiana Jones movie in the mail soon. Hopefully they pause or suspend the monthly movie during this downtime.

That's troubling. Over a week and it is impacting other business lines? I think the last time we saw this was when they ended up overhauling the whole thing.

BEWARE: I got a scam email from disneymovieinsiders.com for Temu Pallet. I wonder if this has anything to do with the rewards issue?

Yeah, it appears that hackers compromised DMI’s mailing list account or platform and spammed the whole list with a fake Temu email, which linked to a phishing site. There was also a second email (caught by many spam filters) promising streaming for $2 for a year. That also led to a phishing site.

No official explanation from DMI yet.

I actually got that email yesterday and it looked really fishy, so I just sent it to junk even though when I checked the email address it was sourced from it said Disney.

You can call them at 1-800-382-4527 and use your member # or phone # on file to navigate through the horrid phone tree and decline the selection of the month. UNLESS, like me, you have an expired CC on the account (I use Virtual CC and just let it expire as I rarely order from them - normally helps keep down issues with unwanted shipments). If that's the case they'll attempt to direct you to a "cast member" to "fix" that CC issue. I tried over the weekend and with no live support on the weekend was unable to complete the task. No problem - my current SotM isn't due until 12/28 so I'll just wait it out.

They have a rewards update from 12/4:
Some rewards that were temporarily unavailable are now back and ready for redemption.

I couldn't get onto their system to figure out my membership number, and for some reason my phone number wasn't working. But yeah, it's good that it's back up, so I can reject it the old fashioned way. I've been in the club for many years now, and only received two discs after forgetting to decline the featured title, one of which I returned since I had it, I've been better about putting it into my calendar if I don't immediately decline it, because sometimes I want to put in an order of a few movies at once, especially the DMC exclusives which I've been mostly keeping up with.

Ahh, that explains the Temu e-mail. I get so damned much junk anymore that I rarely open anything, and never anything from any place that I have never done business with. As I was deleting them, I though,”Huh, that’s a new one, wonder where it got picked up at.”
