I received a fancy foil coupon this weekend. Unfortunately it's only good up to $1.49 and the cost of the chips at Kroger was about a dollar more. The cashier tried to manually enter the coupon but it still only deducted $1.49.

What the heck? coupon expires on June 12, 2016? You only get a few days to use it? thats if you get in the next day or so.
(I still haven't got mine - hopefully will do so in todays mail.)
Unless thats a picture of the first batch of coupons that were set out when the promotion came out back in April.
My guess people who are getting the coupon now are in the second batch of coupons and the expiration date is much later in the summer.

Sucks your only getting $1.49 on the coupon.
Thought they were giving us a coupon for a free bag - a much larger bag - priced between $3-$4.
Hopefully I'll be able to use the $1.49 towards a larger bag.
Will try to use it later this week - especially if my coupon expires Sunday - as a local store this week has a BOGO deal on the family size bag of Lays Chips.

Got mine 2 days ago. Sure enough, it expires June 12th and it's only good for a little bag of chips. How lame is that?

LOL! My Dad and I got our coupons in the mail yesterday! three days after they expired!
(My Aunt who lives in the next town from me did better - she got hers on Monday!)
Going to send a email to Lay's explaining what happened.
Maybe they will send me a couple of free coupons toward a larger bag. If not - oh well.
