I was actually thinking of getting shareware DVD ripper because my non tech-savvy GF is fed up with the protected DVD encryption and backup problems of her own DVD discs. Mercy! I came across that WinXDVD is giving away their latest version of WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, normally sells $60.
