I had to buy batteries for gifts that I am giving for my kids and noticed that at Wal Mart if you buy two packages of MAX AA or AAA batteries ($5.96 at this particular Wal Mart) then you go online to enter the two codes and you will be e-mailed a $10 gift card.

In my case I had already printed two $1.50 off coupons from coupons.com knowing I needed batteries so the total cash paid for me after tax was $9.58. I hate manufacturer rebates but in this case it was simple because you can go online right after you buy the batteries and enter the codes. I imagine prices for an 8 pack of batteries can vary from Walmart to Walmart but it seemed like a decent deal.
