I know this isn't necessarily a specific DVD or BD deal, but it could be used that way, so I'll just post this here.

I'm pretty sure that you have to get the email to sign up for this offer, but the terms seem to be:

-Sign up for the offer before 5/30/13
(I've included a link to the offer sign up page, but I don't know if you have to have received the email to be eligible)

-Use your Sony Card or PlayStationCard from now (4/16/13) through 7/14/13 to make $2000 in purchases

-Get 1000 bonus points added to your account after you've spent the $2000 (points will be added between 4/16/13 - 8/13/13)

BTW - I just called Sony Rewards just to verify that this promo was legitimate (it is) and the rep asked me if I received the spend 2K or 4K offer. So there are at least 2 different tiers to this promo. I asked about being able to be switched to the 4K offer (I think I might actually make that in the next 3 months on this card), but she said that you are only eligible for the promo you received, regardless of whether you reached the next tier spending level in the promo period. She said I was categorized as an "Active Spender" but I guess I didn't make the cut off for the next level up.

Approximately. It used to be when 100 pts = $1, but they have since changed the rate to 115 pts = $1.

So, technically the bonus 1000 pts would only be equal to $8.70.

Not a great deal and I don't know if I would go out of my way to spend the $2K just for this promo. But if one were going to spend that amount on this card anyway over the next 3 months, why not pick up the free points along the way?

So maybe Spend $2000, get $8.70 might have been a better/more accurate title?
