Mine ends in .alumni.edu so could easily be caught, if anyone actually reads the applications...

My same email address that i had in college gets all mail sent to it forwarded to my gmail account. I had no issue signing up a year or 2 ago even though I graduated in 1999

edu.com only asks you to to sign up for information on colleges. am I missing something?

It didn't work. I got this message:
There was a problem with your email address which means you will need to provide additional verification that you are a student. Please contact customer service to complete sign-up.

Apparently if the email address contains the word "alumni" it gets flagged. Oh well...
