Not worth it compared to the standard Borders coupons.

When I saw the thread title, my immediate wish was that they weren't replacing the Amazon deal with this. That would make me sad.

However it is nice they're giving out coupons good for next couple of centuries. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I had $15 in borders bucks to spend and I had a tough time finding something to buy. I just couldn't bring myself to pay full retail on dvds, blu rays, cds and even books. I finally bought a calendar which came to $17 with tax and when I got home and looked on Amazon it was $10. Aside from the 40% off coupons, I would never set foot in Borders.

I don't even bother printing out Borders coupons anymore because their inventory is so piss poor that there's nothing there I want to buy. It's so sad to go into this giant book store, that's probably 6,000 square feet, and there's not a single book there that I'm looking for.

Are they starting to shut down? A major outlet they had in DC just shuttered up about a month ago.

They're still struggling and hoping against all odds for a MAJOR holiday sales push to prop them up.
