These are collected editions of comics, with each one being $14.99. Many of the omnibuses are typically $50 - $100 or so.

One of the best deals I've ever seen on Amazon. Thanks OP! Picked up Wolverine, both Secret Wars and Death of Captain America - of course only one of those was still in stock so we'll see if these get honored.

I hope so too. I'm currently on the hook for both Daredevils, The X-Men, Wolverine, Old Man Logan, Tomb of Dracula and Deadpool: Suicide Kings. I also pre-ordered Deadpool Team-Up, Prelude to Deadpool Corps, Thor, Lone Ranger Vol 4 and Zorro Vol 2. I just couldn't pass them up at these prices.

Picked up a few for the collection - hope Amazon comes through and delivers! See the Comic Book Bargin Thread for more titles - Bloom County, Madman, Invincible, Walking Dead, Powers, etc, though most of those are not as great a bargin as these (altho I highly recommend the Invincible Library). Thanks OP!

Thanks for the heads-up, I ordered Incredible Hulk, Secret Wars I & II, Wolverine, and Tomb of Dracula Omnibus.

Hopefully this is a legit sale and not a pricing error.

Absolutely one of the best comic book deals I ever saw PERIOD!

Edit: People on the slickdeals forums are worried that this is a massive pricing error and Amazon will most likely cancel the orders for these books.

starman 9000 - I'd say that's a good place to get started. You might want to consider Invincible Iron Man (Fraction) Vol 1 and Death of Captain America, as both are currently sitting at $8.24.

Thanks, yeah, I thought about those two, didn't think it would be the best to start at the end with Captain. I just added the Ultimates too. I think if Secret Wars or Civil War drops I'll get those too. Daredevil is in my cart as well, but it looks like it's two separate versions.

Also keeping an eye on Invicible.

Oh, how I wish it were Monday so my prime would get these things in the mail ASAP.

Even if you have Prime, it doesn't look like they will ship right away. Most of them say that they will ship in 1 to 2 weeks.

I put in an order of 3 don't think I'll get them but just in case. They don't have the normal MSRP right on these so it looks like a computer error of a repricing. Would be great to get them, but kept my order small hoping it might slip through.

More of the $14.99 books are dropping to $8.24. What's the general consensus on canceling an order and then reordering at the lower price? Good idea? Bad idea? Or will it not matter since none of these will go through anyway? ;)

I'm thinking the latter. But I'm holding off on any cancelling/re-ordering. The $14.99 prices are still steals, so I'll be happy if I get any at that price. Although I may request a price adjustment for grins, after I recieve them.

I hope no one is calling or writing Amazon asking them about these prices.

I'd bet because this was posted at Slickdeals, all orders will be canceled. There is a small chance it could have slipped under the radar, but Slickdeals tends to ruin everything.

I had ordered Wolverine at $14.99. Went ahead and ordered X-Men now. I think i'll keep the $14.99 order in case there's a better chance of it going through (who knows)

i ordered the ultimates one at $8.74. cool find. while i'm not into comics anymore, this will be a cool way to read some of the good stories.

i don't see why you think they will be canceled. it's not like there is a price "mistake' on 1 or 2 of these. there are a bunch of them for cheap. not only that, but the prices dropped overnight! to me that indicates they are just unloading stock and we all will get smoking deals on these.

What is everyone basing this on? If they cancel 8.24, they will cancel 14.99 orders. Both of them seem to mispriced. I would cancel/reorder. The only benefit I can see is that if there are a bunch of orders, some may slip through before Amazon catches the misprice. Therefor earlier orders might have a better chance of getting fulfilled. But with a 2 week wait on these, I doubt that will make a difference.

I've never known Amazon to cancel orders based on price. I have had them cancel orders they never got in.
