I just opened a second account using the "recommend a friend" feature, and my new account doesn't have a queue, just a cart. There is no monthly purchase requirement on the new account. It also gave me a free CD for both accounts.

On the front page, located right below your queue & cart, you should see a blue banner that says "GET A FREE CD WHEN YOUR FRIEND SUBSCRIBES (Tell A Friend)". Just click that banner link and fill out the info.

I'm a former BMG member so I don't have a queue--but the blue banner under my cart never changes from "$6.99 CDs, FREE SHIPPING always!" no matter what page of the site I'm on. I wonder if it is dependent on whether or not you are on the one-a-month plan or not...

Buy 3 CDs and get one free! Here's how:
• add your selections to your shopping cart
• type the code YMB3G1 into the "Enter Promotion Code:" box
• click the "update" button, then proceed to checkout.
If you purchase three separate items in your CART (with separate selection numbers), you may choose one single CD free of charge. A scheduled queue purchase cannot be counted as a qualifying item. Not sure why the difference. My account is one of the converted BMG accounts where I don't have to have a queue with automatic purchases. Also I haven't bought anything from them in a while. Deal expires 4/20/11.

Nevermind. My work computer shows the B2G1F deal, but at home (where I am now) I get B3G1F. Must be old cookies on my work computer. Interestingly, on my home computer, when I move the cursor over the area where the YMB3G1 code is shown, I see text implying that if I buy two, I get one free. Tried both codes and only get B3G1F. I'll try my work computer tomorrow to see if it is different, but I doubt it.
