Entertainment Weekly (2 Years) - $25 at Amazon

Amazon has Entertainment Weekly (2-Years) for $35 with a $10 instant discount at checkout. That's about $0.22 an issue.

I think the friends and family time warner site has it for 10 dollars a year. It says the site will open in on 4/17. The may have raised it though.

You're correct...it has been $10 in the past. Currently, my sub is good until 2014. With the way magazines have been folding lately, I'm a bit skeptical about shelling out for anything that might not be around that far into the future.

Does anyone know how much People is during the F&F promotion? My wife wants me to order it for my office, but there's no way in hell I'm spending over $100/year on that rag.

I believe I've seen EW at $2/year.

There isn't that much concern with major publication like Times. If anything, it'll just follow suit with PC Magazine going completely online format only.

That is correct. I currently have Time and EW until like 2025 paying $2 for each per year. Every time I make an order with deepdiscount.com there's an option to click at a customer satisfaction survey worth up to $100 for you. Once you have filled it out (takes 2-3 minutes at the most) you get a page with 20 magazines or so for $2 a year.

Cool, thanks. Their site still has issues, though. I had to click that link 5-6 times before the proper page came up. I keep getting another page that has a list of their magazines at TERRIBLE prices...

Just placed an order with DD and tried this. Question: even though your subscription to Time and EW run til 2025 do tyhey still try to renew every year (I noticed that was the gotcha clause - they will renew you automatically every year if you do not try to opt out). Or do you have to call them each time to cancel? They claim that they send a reminder - do they really do this?

Yeah. Those prices are shit. usually it's $10/year for EW. looks like it's $15 if you use debit card and $20 if not. screw that!

is this a trustworthy site, giving CC info and all?

can you do this if it is a renewal? i already have a subscription good till Nov 09 and just want that price to renew, will it just tack on to current subscription and not start a whole new one? thanks.

They send you a reminder card about 30-60 days in advance every year and you just call an automated 1-800 no. and cancel so that you won't get charged "regular" rate. Haven't had any problems for the 3-4 years I've had my subscriptions so far.

Very trustworthy considering it's the publisher's own website.

I used it on renewals....three times. Just make sure you enter your subscription info as it appears on your mailing sticker.

Try clicking on that site once, go through with any magazine that give you the shit price, leave it open and click on the link again. For some reason, the second time around actually link you to the cheap price order site.

Also, if you some how get duplicate subscription instead of renewal, just email or call their customer service and provide them with the two account number on your mag. They'll merge it as if it was renewed from the get go. I've done it many times.

Worked for me as well. For $10/yr, I figure I'm safe signing up for another couple of years. I can't resist a bargain, lol.

Re: Entertainment Weekly (2 Years) - $25 at Amazon

I used that link the last few times it was posted and extended my sub out to 2017.

With the way newspapers and some magazines are disappearing.....I just hope EW is around that long.
