Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I wonder if they are going to start phasing out movies from their rewards program. Or just carry more major titles going forward (Marvel, Star Wars). I'm still holding out hope for some more 3D titles (wishful thinking) and 4K movies.

I can't recall a better sale before at DMR. I would jump on a bunch of these, except I've picked them up before..
I picked up The Good Dinosaur (3D/BD/DVD) for 800 points and the 2 film Lilo & Stitch set (in DVD case) for 425 points

I commented on the 3D thread, but I only got National Treasure for 900 points. Not a lot from my 21000 points I've amassed. I'm now just sitting and waiting for them to add a lot more Marvel 4K sets to I can blow my points on those. As for the sale, I've gotten all the available 3D sets already, so no need to get those.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I had 2500 points and spent 1600 today. I almost spent them all the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 4k for 2300 points. I used them on 4 Blu-rays.
Muppets Most Wanted Blu-ray, DVD + Digital HD 400 points
McFarland USA Blu-ray + Digital HD 400 points
Million Dollar Arm Blu-ray + Digital HD 400 points
Alexander And The Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day Blu-ray + Digital HD 400 points
Alexander is the only one of the four that I have seen. The only three are blind buys, but they're free and I can always put them in the yard sale if I don't like them.

^ Remember it's really just 250 points a piece since you get 150 back with every BR you get.

I took advantage of the sale myself. Had about 4500 points, I'm still sitting at over 3100. I redeemed for Bambi II, A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa, Toy Story that Time Forgot and Walt Disney Short Films Collection. I just received Bambi II and it's actually a DMC exclusive. Pretty pleased with my haul. All of them I wanted to fill in my Disney collection, but none of them were worth spending a lot of cash for (or the full amount of points).

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I just picked up Arachnophobia on Blu-ray for 360 pts. There's no digital copy, but I haven't seen it before and it could be a good watch for the Halloween movie season.

Big Dave, thanks for the heads up. Grabbed 4 on the last sale and another 5 today. Actually got 3 of the mystery blu-rays (2 PG-13 and 1 regular). Makes them almost "free" since you get back 150 points for the 225 they cost.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
Looks like it's not just the movies that are on sale, I did a quick search for theatrical posters (which is what I primary redeem) and they are all in the 150 to 240 point range, much cheaper than regular price. And they appear to have new stock on sale including Frozen 2, Mulan, Onward or Rise of Skywalker teaser posters.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I'm thinking discs will no longer be "rewards" when they transition the club...
I'm about to enter the last few codes I have and clean out my points with that in mind.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
With the points discounts, I used some of mine to get:
Cars 3
The Jungle Book (2016)
Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D
I actually already have The Force Awakens (previous version), but for 600 points and the new extras, why not?
I have like 900+ points left now.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
Too bad I didn't check this thread earlier. By the time DMR sent an e-mail about the sale (a day and a half after it started), a few movie posters I would have gotten had already sold out (Rise of Skywalker Teaser, Ant-Man and the Wasp Payoff, Mary Poppins Returns Payoff). The only things I could find of interest were a few blu-rays. Wish there were more, since I had over 7,000 points saved up. I doubt we'll see a better sale. Would have went for the Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo combo packs, but they only have them in DVD packaging.
Their site must be getting hammered. It took almost a full minute to get an order confirmation screen after clicking the Redeem button for each of these titles:
Beauty and the Beast 2017
Enchanted (DVD upgrade)
The Force Awakens 3D (BD upgrade, mainly for the commentary track and fancy packaging)
Frankenweenie
I should earn back 650 points from the included reward codes, so the final point deduction would be 1,225. I'd still have nearly 6,000 points left, so hopefully the program (and physical rewards, specifically) won't be eliminated any time soon.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
During the earlier sale in August, I picked up Bambi II BR, Toy Story of Terror DVD and Walt Disney Short Films Collection BR.After I saw this thread yesterday and redeemed for The Three Musketeers BR, Car Toons: Maters Tall Tales BR, and Bambi BR. Bambi's an upgrade from DVD to BR so it wasn't at the top of my list, but for 600 points, I figured it was time. The others are just completing my collection. Neither were super important for me to have, but for 300 pts each, I'll get 'em. Not to mention they all have codes inside.
Here's hoping the new program has some decent rewards to use the points on...

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I redeemed my points from the previous sale and then whittled my stock down to 200 points with inferior sequels like Monsters U and Iron Man 3 plus randoms like Queen of Katwe and Oz Great and Powerful. When I redeem codes on MA, I habitually check Vudu immediately afterward to see if it went through. I did the same for Katwe then realized I had traded points for a physical disc with code instead of redeeming a code.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
Glad I saw this thread. I just ordered three blu-rays that had digital codes for 1200 points:
- Alexander And The Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day
- The Pirate Fairy
- The Good Dinosaur
Even if physical rewards are coming to an end, I'm walking away happy. Over the past few years I received about 10 free blu-rays for nearly free (paid for shipping and handling on a few of them).
I have 15 points left
