This might be of interest to some: I just submitted 3 CDs for points and received the pop-up that I had unlocked the buy 3, get 1 free promo. The fine print says to enter BDs/DVDs, but CDs seem to work as well. The way I figure it, this is the way to go since I can save the few BDs I haven't entered yet for another time (perhaps if ever see a double points promo).

I didn't know about this. Are these CDs Disney soundtracks only, or are other labels involved?

And do you see the same thing as in a DVD--a little insert with a code?

The majority of accepted titles are soundtracks. There's a list available on the DMR site that shows a list of eligible titles.

The process is different than BDs/DVDs. Here's the instructions copied from the site:

Someone had mentioned some time ago that you could use Disney CDs from your local library. That was my successful experiment yesterday.

I've had a horrible time getting the cds to register. I usually can eventually get them to register, but last week when I tried to enter "Frozen" soundtrack, it just would not. It says it's not in the drive. But yeah, you can get points for the cds...

i couldn't get my doc mcstuffins cd to register on 2 different computers. fucking thing kept telling me something about java.

I think so. When I use the "new" filter on rewards, each of those 3 are listed. I didn't see them a few days ago.

That was my problem too, kept on telling me it needed to be updated, but when I updated, I had the same problem. Also, on one of the computers, the update downloaded a WHOLE bunch of malware, enough so I had to use a recovery point. It changed a lot of my settings, hijacked my browser and home page and who knows what else. I do run anti-virus software, but it didn't ping anything.

I did email them and after one insulting email where it was obviously cut and pasted off a script that didn't even mention any of my problem, they're willing to help, but it did take about 4 emails and about a week for them to respond. If I hadn't gotten something today, I was about to call. That might work out better for you to try first.

only downside to this (i've read) is that if you redeem points high ticket items, they can request UPCs for all the items.

Just to follow up on this, I was going to email them today and see if or when this was going to ship. I went to retrieve the order number to have when contacting them and the site says mine has been shipped.

I never received a shipping notice(hence the reason I was about to email them), but glad I checked before sending an email out.
