Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I guess this is the official DMR thread?
Regarding the free birthday Blu-Ray offer which is set to expire in the near future, am I correct that based on the stated "limit 1 redemption per household", other members of the same family with different birthdays (before the current promotion expires) cannot sign up now for their own DMR accounts and receive a birthday Blu-Ray offer because the shipping address will be the same... even if they have their own email and credit card?
In fact, I'm guessing DMR's intention is that a family pools all their Disney purchases together into 1 account because when I searched this on Google I found a couple posts saying someone had been banned (and lost all of their points) just because they had 2 accounts (husband and wife) at the same address. Of course you never know if such stories are true.
If DMR extends the free birthday Blu-Ray offer (beyond June when the first people last year got their offers), I guess no one yet knows if people who have already gotten 1 free birthday Blu-Ray will get a 2nd one.
Finally, I had a note to myself saying that my DMR points need to be redeemed by 8/31/10, but in my message center I saw a message that the program had been extended by a year to 8/31/11, so we've all get 1.5 years left to redeem our points?

My GF and I live together and we both received a free Blu Ray last year for our birthdays. Used different credit cards but the same address.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
Thanks, ScissorPuppy. While I had hoped for more than 1 confirmation, 1 is better than nothing. Here I thought a lot of people would respond that they signed up for multiple accounts at one address if it's allowed, but either (almost) nobody is reading this thread any more or most people are scared (like I am) that Disney will confiscate their remaining points and ban them if 2 accounts have the same mailing address (but nothing else in common).
Hopefully if I do decide to have other family sign up, it will still work if it's only a couple weeks in advance of one's birthday (though Disney doesn't check so I suppose anyone could put anything if you haven't already set up an account).

I used two same mailing addresses, two separate people, and one credit card. Everything went through smoothly.

I got my order, Walt Disney Treasure, "Your Host, Walt Disney". The tin has a few small dings here and there. It's a pretty low #. I can't wait to watch this. By the way, the surprise gift included with my order is a Toy Story pin that has Woody and Buzz! I am happy with that!

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?
I didn't have a lot of points to redeem since I've gotten some big things lately (like the P&TF Poster) but I wanted to get in on the free pin that everybody seems to be getting. I redeemed 175 points for a tree seedling which will be donated to schools but the promotion says ANY redemption will receive a bonus gift. I guess I'll call Monday morning (& hope I don't get Karen) to make sure that I will get my bonus prize. I have a brother & nephew who have accounts & they did the same thing on Friday. We're hoping for 3 nice pins & if they say NO bonus prize I will ask for my points back since the way it reads anything you redeem points for is supposed to receive the bonus gift.

Mine looked like a finding Nemo pin. I dont know why the put the walt disney treasures in a envelope. If they had used a box it wouldnt have any problems.

If it was a small orange fish, that's what I got, too. It isn't Nemo, but I have no idea who it is... I also got a Cars pin with my other redemption. I forgot this promo ended yesterday, or I would have submitted for one more. Oh well. The bonus points promo is today, but it doesn't look like it is live yet...

I got a Cars pin with my Incredibles poster and a Toy Story pin with my WALL-E poster. Pretty neat little things, but wtf do I need them for?

ARGH!!! It's NOT double points. They just posted info. Apparently there will be bonus codes posted on Facebook from 3/9 to 3/28, plus Special Offers good for 24 to 48 hours (from 3/9 to 3/22), and if you donate a plush toy for 100 points, they'll match it til 3/28... Nothing posted on Facebook yet, but I'll keep checking... Today's special offer is LAME (just trying to get people to sign up for Disney Movie Club)
