It seems like they have been slowing down adding blu rays to their rewards program. The only recent one I'm seeing is The Lone Ranger, which was offered for a couple weeks before and then removed. I held out too long on James and the Giant Peach and now it's no longer available.

I'd initially looked down on that film simply because it was a "modern" Disney adaptation of a classic figure. By the time this came out I was firmly in the "What are they thinking?" camp for the majority of Disney releases as many injected far too much "pop culture" crap into the story. I fully expected this to be just another in the long line of stuff-to-ignore from The Mouse Factory. So... you give it a which prompts me to read a few reviews. The one from Roger Ebert (a go-to reviewer - man, I miss him!) made me totally rethink my assumptions of this one. Your coupled with Ebert's review made me want to see it so I ordered a copy.

How many points do you get for putting in a movie at DMR? Just curious how many offset points there are presuming that we will be able to enter points from getting this too? And is that true?

I've got to confess, Bob. I've never seen the film. I'm like you in that I've never really been interested in it for the same reasons you mentioned, but reviews I've read have also been positive. My was seeing something new at a very reasonable point level. Especially when you factor in that you'll get 150 points back with the code from this title.
