Same here - actually putting in these codes and getting the points entice me to actually spend of my points.
Ordered a couple of DVDs that I always wanted to get - two Kurt Russell movies when he was a young adult -
The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969) and The Bearfoot Executive (1971).
Too bad his later movies - "Now You See Him, Now You Don't (1972) and "The Strongest Man In The World" (1975) arn't available.

Just a reminder, if you redeemed DMR points for Hollywood Movie Money (either $10 movie tickets or $5 concession cash) earlier this year, but have not yet activated the Hollywood Movie Money code and generated a certificate, you only have a week to do so. The redemption codes expire on July 31. Once the certificate is generated, it is good for 6 months.

Ughh, I just logged on to my DMR account and I used to have almost 4500 points and low and behold, they are all gone. I'm not 100% sure, but it's probably been at least 6-8 months since I last logged on, do the points expire after inactivity? That really sucks. That was alot of points I lost.

Yes, the points do expire if you don't log in after several months. That's why it's good to get in the habit of grabbing the monthly points from the emails or the Facebook game. It's not much, but it helps you log in on a regular basis. And I think some people have been able to get their expired points back by contacting them on Facebook.

Yep, the company running this program expires points if the account hasn't been used in six months. As Rexxriot suggested, complaining on Facebook might get them back. For people unaware, the company running this promotion is one that usually handles rebates, to give people a better idea of its ilk. Contacting Disney's customer service is a good idea, as Disney does not like taking a hit to their brand because of some third-party fulfillment service.

damn it to hell. i've been to 2 disney movies (planes and guardians of the galaxy) but i forgot to save the tickets for points. i never remember to do that. damn it!

Yeah that happened to me on Monday night when I was trying to enter that code for the 50 points that was just posted in here - post 2636.
Got slow response/after getting the error page, I just hit the go back one page button/wound up on the page where I first entered the code.
Then I hit enter again and it worked - I got the 50 bonus points.
Happened on all three accounts the family has there - mine, my Dads and my Aunts. Took 20 mins total to enter the code to each account.
