From there you can try for a refund and probably be denied, or you can change your subscription over to another magazine including Maxim, Blender, Discover, Motor Trend, etc.
Thanks for the info -- I converted my 16 remaining issues to Home Theater!

Mine expires in May 09. was able to change it to Smart Money since i already get most of the others. It says it takes 4-8 weeks to be processed so i'll probably only get 1 or 2 issues unless they don't count the processing time.

Can other magazine subscriptions be transfered like this even if the sub you have isnt going digital? There's some magazines that i get that I don't read and wouldn't mind transferring the sub to a mag from the same publisher that I would read.

So, basically you will not get any money. Just switch to the digital subscription or cancel it.
After asking for the refund, I received an e-mail saying I would get the refund.
Now I have not checked to see if it went thru...

Maxim 1 Year

http://a388.g.akamai.net/7/388/1603/...m01welcome.htm

Maxim is a unique combination of service journalism and irreverent humor, addressing real concerns of regular guys. Its success comes from understanding that men need to know a little bit about a lot of things; and Maxim delivers this information in a witty & relevant style.

We get years and years by signing up for the same magazine every time a new link is posted. They'll stack and before you know it you'll be getting the magazine until 2016.

Thanks. I've been meaning to add on another year of Sound & Vision since my current subscription is almost up.

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)

Do people actually give their work address/phone to get the magazines? Something about that I find disconcerting. Just curious if anyone has had any negative experiences with that or anything.

I listed my home address as the work address, and made up a business name.

In the past there were free maxim sub give aways from 1-2 years. And while most magazines only let you get a new sub, somehow when you signed up for maxim, they just kept on adding years to the sub.

Then Stuff got folded, and the years I had into Stuff (I think 9-10 years), got converted to Maxim lol

Does anyone have the site bookmarked to check your Maxim/Blender subs status? I know we've talked about this before, I just can't find it.
