Perhaps the links sent to me are single use.
Here is another one for someone to try. I didn't do this one or the previous one. Hopefully someone can use it.

Yeah that is a stunner. I haven't seen it in at least a decade.

Yes but it's no longer printed in digest format or weekly. It is now bi-weekly and standard magazine size. They also realize that people collect these magazines like people collect comic books, so they publish multiple "variant" covers of nearly every issue so that collectors will seek out and purchase all the different covers so that their collection is complete. This increases their circulation numbers.

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)
I recently renewed my folks' TV Guide subscription for multiple years. (Actually I got them a year, and me a year, but something screwed up and they combined the subs, so my folks got both years).
It's worth what I've paid for it, like six bucks a year.
It's something like a very lite Entertainment Weekly (which is now monthly, and even lighter than it used to be.)
Don't understand the collection of multiple covers (something EW does as well...)

I kind of get the comics one, because for most comics you go to a specialty store that babies the comics and bags and boards them. I mean when you subscribe, TV Guide still comes via mail, right? And if you subscribe how do you make sure you get all the covers?

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)
I noticed the comic one a while back - I don't actively collect comics anymore but I read issues/TPBs that I get on sale, discount, library, Humble, and I read a bunch of stuff on Comixology. But man, the number of alternate covers some issues have. A special con edition is kinda neat, but it seems like a bit of overkill. 100 different covers seems insane to me. A blank sketch surface for an artist at a con or as a sales pitch, ok, that's cool. I am not the target market Now, I would consider buying a book just of all the covers - but 100 or even 10 copies of the same thing, where the only difference is a preprinted cover? Nope.
EW plugs their alt covers in each issue - they show you the options and of course point you to the website where you can buy it. I do still subscribe to and read a bunch of physical print magazines (quick count, at least 15), but I usually recycle them when I've read them (I might donate Asimov's, and of course I'll pass on 'hey read this article' issues.) Well, now I recycle them. I do have a collection of MAD, Heavy Metal, and video games magazines.
BUT - just because it's not for me, doesn't mean it's not for somebody, and I'm all for companies trying to (legally) improve their livelihood however they can.

I believe there is an ad in the issues with the variant covers where you can order the other ones and you can also get them from the website. Some people searched various supermarkets or bookstores that carry magazines so they can get them cheaper than ordering them. The same goes for Entertainment Weekly (Monthly).
